B L Chajed & Co. was founded in the late 1990s by Adv. Babulal Chajed on BVK Iyengar Road, Chikpete, Bangalore — with a team of four and a hundred clients who trusted him with their filings.

Through two decades of steady growth — a second floor, a larger team, and a move to our own office in Gandhi Nagar — the firm has never outsourced a single file. Everything is handled in-house, by people who know your numbers.

Today we hold over 500 active client relationships, growing by 10–15 new engagements every year — built entirely on referral and reputation. Discipline is our first priority.
LATE 1990S
Founded at BVK Iyengar Road
Adv. Babulal Chajed begins the practice at BVK Iyengar Road with a team of 4–5 and 100 clients. Advocacy and taxation, side by side.
2000s
Expanding to a second floor
Growth demands more space. Team reaches 6–7 members, client base crosses 200. A second floor on the same building is added.
2007
GST era — deep specialisation
With the GST rollout, the firm becomes one of Bangalore’s primary compliance practices — handling registrations, returns and notices for hundreds of clients from day one.

Own office in Gandhi Nagar
The firm moves into its own premises at 2nd Floor, VSPL Clover Enclave. 15+ team members, 5–6 CAs, discipline-first culture.

A certified advocate with nearly a decade of Karnataka High Court practice before dedicating himself entirely to taxation. Handles end-to-end GST, income tax and departmental hearings — including ITAT and GST Appellate Authority representation.

B.Com graduate, currently pursuing CA. Four years managing day-to-day operations, GST filings, accounting and income tax work. The next generation carrying the practice forward.
